Raúl Gorrín. Many years ago I was in an acting clinic. We worked on perfecting our acting skills. We read books, took classes, studied and observed people in their natural setting, studied different methods and incorporated their styles into our own selves and we practiced clinics. Our instructors or mentors taught us that we were an instrument. An instrument that needed to be perfected through practice and study along with our own natural skill. We were taught that there is not a machine or any modern technology that can match the productivity of a person. People can learn and improve. People can innovate. People can think outside the box. They can create products and ideas that are unimaginable at the present time. Even the most technological computer could never take the place of a company’s good people “People are definitely a company's greatest asset. It doesn't make any difference whether the product is cars or cosmetics, A company is only as good as the people it keeps”…. this is quote from Mary Kay Ash.
Most of our successful companies have learned this lesson and they have taken steps to make the work place more conducive to innovation and the flow of ideas. Google has always looked after its staff, providing workers with a lot of perks to make it worth their while to stay with the company.
Googlers employees are extremely well fed, getting healthy and varied breakfast, lunch, and even dinner if they stay late — for free. There are also coffee and juice bars scattered throughout the campuses.
This next perk may sound crazy from the Google company. Dogs are welcome! Googlers are free to bring their pets to work.
Googlers at the Mountain View campus get a free ride to and from work. All the buses are equipped with Wi-Fi, so not only can employees live anywhere in San Francisco without needing a car to get to work, but they can relax, have fun, or get work done on the way there.
Employees can give each other "massage credits" for a job well done on projects. The massage credits can be redeemed for a free one-hour massage on campus.
New dads receive six weeks of paid leave, and moms can take 18 weeks, and employees' stock continues to vest (and they continue to receive bonuses) while they are on leave. "The Google even gives us a bonus, called 'baby bonding bucks' shortly after our baby is born to help with expenses like diapers, takeout, and formula during our leave," one employee writes. When parents return to work, there are free on-site day cares for children.
Employees get free fitness classes and gyms, and are encouraged to participate in organized intramural sports.
The 80/20 rule gives Googlers plenty of opportunity for creativity. The 80/20 rule allows Googlers to dedicate 80% of time to their primary job and 20% working on passion projects that they believe will help the company.

One reported on Google’s free perks reported that when he saw people sitting down to eat, they sat in groups and he heard all over the flow of ideas. Companies like Google realize that there is burn out at the workplace and that the average employee is productive only 65% of the time. By making the workplace a fun enjoyable place Google has found a way to increase productivity and created an atmosphere where their employees enjoy being there and they show it in their work effort.
